Short Trip

                                               

I just had a short trip with my fam, minus my big brother because he had to work at the weekend. We were actually coming to our relative's wedding at Magelang. We through the new highway from Surabaya to Bawen, Semarang which cost 225k, i think, it was a bit pricey, but in return, it can cut the time that needed if we through the usual road. We got off from Surabaya at around 7 AM, and arrived at Semarang at 12 AM, because my dad stopped for several times at the rest area to top up the e-toll card also we had breakfast at Mojokerto. However, I think it would be nice if there is more highway that can connecting one city to another city.

Pempek & Siomay Ulu Bundar

After finished attending the wedding, my dad asked us to go to Yogyakarta instead of staying at Magelang. Me and my sis were so excited of course. It took about 2 hours from Magelang to Yogyakarta. We took a prayer at nearby mosque and we decided to go to UGM University. Because my sis wanted to look at it, and neither I ever went there before. My dad and mum stayed at the car meanwhile me & my sis took a walk around it and took pictures. It was crowded by the people who had some exercise.. it was so cozy at there because the weather was so nice and the wind blow perfectly.. Enough looked around at UGM, we went to have a dinner. At first, we wanted to eat at some fancy cafe with a good interior design, but any of it had a decent parking area for our big car --" so we passed about 4 restaurants and ended choose a restaurant in front of Ambarukmo Plaza Mall. We ate pempek and siomay which was very very delicious but not pricey at all!!! You guys must try it!!! We spent only 90k to buy 3 full portions of pempek (contains of 1 kapal selam, 1 kulit, 1 lenjer), siomay, and also the drinks. After being full of eating, of course we went to the Mall 😛😝

At 8 PM, my dad wanted to eat Gudeg and my sis wanted to see Marlioboro. It was very crowded of people and cars. It almost took an hour to pass it. But finally my dad had fulfill his craving and mom bought one pack of it to be eaten at home.. At 11 PM we went back to Malang, and of course it was my dad's turn to drive.. He took a rest at 3 AM in the next day at Ngawi's rest area. By the way, I love all the design of rest area at the new highway, it's minimalist but still occupied all the needs. 👍

Bakso de' Stadion

At 7 AM we arrived at Malang and I just knew that the highway would be very foggy at the morning which was make us panicked, hahaha.. It was like we were at another part of country rather than at Indonesia. Finally I was home! I miss my home so much, eventho I'd only stay for a day but I was so happy. After had some sleep, I decided to go to Batu, at first I was about to go to Cafe Sawah, Pujon but unfortunately It was closed due to local event. So, I went to Paralayang (as usual). Before that, I ate at Bakso de-Stadion, it placed behind Batu's sport Centre, it's opposite to Jatim Park. You guys must also try it!!!! You will have an experience to eat Bakso while looking to beautiful scenery of Batu City, more over at Night!
