Happy Ied Adha

Whew, can't tell another proper words for times nowadays,

it flew away too fast,

don't ya think so? :/ An hour just passed like a second strikes to a minute. It's like once you blink an eye, many times already wasted. Well, well, it's already 6:24 PM here, which means.. 15hours from now, my short-holiday's gonna end soon, and college's life is back, *sobbing* By the way, Happy Mbek Day for all moslems in this world, especially to all moslems which currently do Haji in Makkah, wish y'all could be the mabrur ones of course, Wish my mom and dad soon can go there, aamiin. So, gonna share you a bit what I did hours ago :D

Last Saturday, my home got a guest :D He's my cousin from Tangerang, his name is Fathan, now he is a first year student like me, at Universitas Brawijaya, same with my older brother. Because the holiday isn't long enough so he spent these holiday came to my house :D

We went to same places at Surabaya, by the way mas Fathan had a big trouble with Javanese, so anytime my family speak in Java we should translate it into Bahasa Indonesia, well not a big job actually so it doesn't  really matter :)) First, he tried Bebek Palupi near my home with my brother, he said that it's been long enough since last time he ate Bebek goreng (wonder what kind of food he usually eats ckckck). Because that day already too late in the night, we all spent at home watching television and went to sleep yeaayy

Day 2, hmm? What did I do ya?*digging for recent old memories*
Ah! That was Sunday, right? I had some relaxing times with my JHS's super friend, Mbik, at Tunjungan Plaza. Been months not going into a mall and stuffs like that so I'm enjoying my times there with her, shared so many stories as always... New friends, college life, funny experiences, her-kind-of-sickness (she so easy to forget lately, and it's a bit serious matter i think), and also...... our love stories puhuhuhu.
Well, having a day with her is a pleasure as always,
looking forward for next meeting ya sissy, Goodluck for our study ya :)

Day 3, went to Suramadu (Surabaya-Madura) bridge and looked around Surabaya with full team + Mas Fathan, Been sooooo loooong not having this kind of times, so my mood that night was so so so happy :D

P.S: the sea breeze was so strong that night

Last day, which means today... hrrrr such a nightmare in one side, since I had lot of tasks that I haven't fully done during to my kebuntuan, :-( You know? I'm so depend with....that.."Power of kepepet", Like I need kind-of-big pressure to make my ideas go out... So here I am..... Troubled with two tasks that I should have done by tomorrow... when i just have done it, perhaps 15% to 100%..... so sad...actually. Times to make friends with coffee, papers, and another sleepless night from now on, by the way still happy fifteenth to you ;-)

Well, let's back to life, guys.

Ibu Pertiwi

Just read the “Manufacturing Hope” section in one of local news paper in my country, Jawa Pos. Manufacturing Hope is an article that written by Dahlan Iskan, the BUMN minister of Indonesia. Today he talk about corruption that happening in Indonesia. He praises and calls numbers of officials from several famous companies in Indonesia, such as.. Bank Mandiri, PT KAI, Mahkamah Konstitusi, which is not ‘fall into the oil pond’ when they’re already inside the pond. Get it?

Corruption cases are common phenomenon that currently raged discussed in Indonesia. Almost every week there always a new news that reporting about the arrest of corruption suspect in Indonesia. Numbers of ‘high’ people that sits on most important part in Indonesian goverment already caught by KPK which stands for Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (comission of corruption eradication). The last hot issue is Akil Mochtar, ex chairman  of Mahkamah Konstitusi Indonesia. It’s so ironic too see the fact that he just inaugurated to sit on that position on April 2013. He also ever insult and offend some of people that arrested in corruption cases earlier than him, like Rudi Rubiandini. But now? He also arrested for the same case, and i know from the infotaiment that he will placed in the same room with him. How shame? But no..no.. astaghfirullahaladzim i’m not going to judge people here… cause yeah i did know it, life is like a hell most time.

Back to article that Dahlan Iskan wrote, i really agree with what he thought in there. It’s easy for people that not in the real situation like, what Mr. Rudy/ Mr. Akil, to say and judge about their corruption (like me while ago). Because we not in real condition where we faced with so many tempting offers, a huge amount of money, luxury, position, wealth, and stuffs like that.

Yes, It is indeed so easy for us to say and judge them, when we are not in the same place with them.
So let’s ask to ourselves now,

What will you do when you were offered with billions of money?
Or maybe when you were offered with acres of land?
Or maybe when you were offered with unlimited edition of luxury cars?

Are you gonna stay silent?
Will you easily rejected them?
Are you really NOT GOING to be like them?

Cause, hey, literally, everybody wanna be a billionaire. Won’t they?

So here is our homework.

To be wise. To be faith. To stay in the right path, where Allah give his blessed on.

And the question, Could we?
Above all the possibility that may happen in the future, all we have to do is say, yes we absolutely can.

Back to Dahlan Iskan philoshopy about “when we are diving on the oil’s pond, we literally exactly going to be wet by the oil. But in fact, there are also some that not get wet.” And that’s what me and you supposed to be in the future, as youth and agent of change in Nusantara. The damage that Indonesia already have maybe is too much, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be fixed anymore. Indonesia still have us to fix and save  this country in the future. from Dahlan Iskan’s article i could know, that now Indonesia is also on progress to bring this country back to the pitch. And the movement of KPK that catches all perpetrator that do the KKN practical and harm the public, without seeing what the suspected’s position. Minister, head office, lawyer, that doesn’t matter.

Yupp, that’s what Indonesia need, justice.
Ones that make fault should be punished. Ones that doing good and depend on what their job desks are should be awarded.

Through problems that Indonesia should face there’s also gonna make Indonesian people thinking about the ways out, i believe the rest of good people are still many and uncountable. I believe, Indonesia still have hopes to be fixed and finally be a real-independent country. Things take times. Things take courage. Things take faith. And all we need to do are be and do positives.

So, There are two ways of problems could do to you: either destroy you or define you and make you stronger :-)

Choose yours.

I Grow, I Learn

Dear, friend..
In this chance, I want to share you my “finally I’m using hijab” experience.. Well, it happened almost 2,5 years back then. I was in 11st grade of Senior High School on that time. Trust me, Allah will always show the right path to those who looking for it, anytime, cause you know that right? Allah never sleep :)

To be honest.. first time I thought about it because of someone i knew. I won’t to be naive, saying that It was Lillahitaa’la since the very first time, because I knew, it wasn’t. but hey, what the matters? Maybe, this is the way how Allah wanted to show the right path for me…
And i believe, yes it was.

Alhamdulillah, I’m so thankful that Allah has sent me inspirator, so i started to think how to be someone better.. And finally do these every little thing simply because of Allah SWT.. aamiin.

I still remember.. it was Ramadhan two years ago..
So, My school has a tradition to wear a Muslim’s clothes on school days in Ramadhan month. Because of that, everyday I use veil for school. As time goes by, around two weeks, I used to it. I’m feeling somehow more comfortable, safe, peace, when I’m using veil. I could feel how..I’m one step want to be closer with my Creator.. Plus, I surrounded with great people around. My friends. Dinar, Zizi, they some that also inspire me the most. Start from that time, I’m thinking about to use veil in my daily life.

Then, the school’s days off for Ramadhan was coming, I talked to my parents about my plan. First, my mom not really agree. I know, maybe you guys gonna think my mom is weird. But I knew exactly why my mother thought like that..

Because, she knew someone, that person, already used veil for 10 years maybe, but then, when that person about seeking for a job, she opened her veil. My mom just simply wouldn’t me happening the same thing with her.

So, we argue for some couple times. And then my father, mediate us. Alhamdulillah Finally we actually agree each other about my plan. My parents also reminding me about some stuffs. Like, “Using veil is not only about covering your hair up..or you body. Using veil means you’ve got a new responsibility with your religion too.. Veil is an Icon for Islam.. You should keep your behavior also.. Have a good manner, says good words, never leave sholat deliberately.. You know that right?”

Mom, dad.. I know that. :)

Taking this decision isn’t about a simple thing. Many things that should be prepared. Most thing is,
How to have a faith with this decision, because i know.. as times goes by, things won’t be the same.. But, hey, then I remember, What’s the big problem here? As long as..I did this because of Allah ta’ala. Insya Allah, i won’t wobbly then.. aamiin :)

If I keep waiting for I’m fully ready for it, i wonder how long times that it gonna take.

So to the dearest who’s still confuse about the same thing that I ever experienced too. Don’t confuse, dear :) You’re already in the right path, just be a little braver to take a decision.. :) It’s not about.. ready or not. But it simply about our duty in Islam,

And remember one more thing.. actually Islam give us thing to do, for our own goodness. :)
If you still thinking that you haven’t good enough to close your aurat, please remember that every little things gonna take a time to be happened. Same with you.. It gonna take a time too for being someone better. Every new day that Allah gives to us is a new chance for us to keep improving ourselves. Slowly as you start to use it. you will also learn another thing. you will directly bring your self to be somehow in better and better path indeed…insya Allah :)

I may sounds to be “someone that knowing all”. But I’m saying those words because I have been through that ways myself. I know how those feeling exactly. I know how extreme the changing and condition. And I’m still not good enough as a muslimah.. I haven’t wear a syar’i clothes in my daily life. Sometimes, i still delay my pray time. I’m still learning Al-Quran, I still can’t read it fluently, my recitation Surah isn’t many.. Sometimes, i still can’t hold my anger. Most time, I still talking in high intonation. Sometimes, i still wear clothes that shows some of my aurat (mostly my hand). And I still..can’t fully secure my heart for having feeling to someone. I still have many flaws as a human.

See?

I’m still learning here, every each times. I tried my best to be better and better. Slowly change my habit, into something better. Changing is not an easy matter to deal with. And I believe that it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as I still want to learn to make it right and do the best to not make the same mistakes all the time. because, Perfection is only owned by Allah SWT.,

At least you are brave enough to try.. As long as you force yourself to learn something good.. As long as you dare to make a decision that bring you outta from your comfort zone, hey that’s all thousand times better than if you stop and not willing to try.

Dear…I know,
maybe many of you thought that we’re still young and have plenty times ahead..Because honestly I also thinking that way, most time. But death, who knows exactly when will  the time is coming? :(

That’s why, Let’s take one step..either one little step is also okay..into somewhere brighter. And from that every little steps that you take, slowly but sure, eventually, finally it gonna take you millions steps away…away.. closer to the eternal light.. aamiin ya rabbal alamin.

"we grow and we learn, each day, together with people around us. Like 11, we need each other to can stand, visible, and have a meaning," -r :)
