Career womans = Housewives

If there’s any statement that said 

“housewives need less ability than a career woman does”, 

or 

“woman can’t be a career woman, they must be a housewife”,

I’d really disagree with that. for example, if there’s a career woman who works as an accountant, she only needs to be expert in accounting field, but not the housewives do. Being a housewife means that a woman should role many characters in a day. Sometimes, she needs to be a chef who can cook various menus of meals. Sometimes, she needs to be a good cleaner who make up the bed, clean the house, and do the dishes. Sometimes, she need to be a driver who picks her children up from school or just simply go out for buying the house’s needs when it ran out of stock. Sometimes, she has to be a teacher who teaches her children all the lesson about life. Sometimes, she needs to be a good manager for her husband and children. Sometimes she needs to be a good accountant who sets up the monthly’s budgets and manages the money from her husband so it will be enough to take care the whole needs at home. And so many else role that she needs to take from the simplest thing to the most complicated ones.

But, that doesn’t mean that a career woman can’t role them both. That’s why, woman needs to be smart (not only about what score that she got when she graduated), but woman needs to be smart and able in many aspects. Because, woman holds a big duties in this world. 

Being a full time housewife or a part time housewife and career woman is a choice that I believe, it’s made upon ones reasons that a woman has to choose, and we should respect it.. Because, this thing called life happens within every second that past. Maybe beyond any career woman’s heart they actually want to be a full time housewife but, maybe there are conditions that made her needs to be a career woman. And, i think, as long as she didn’t leave her nature job as a housewife for her family, that really is not a big problem.

If you are still a teenage or a young adult lady, I suggest you to do chores at home (if you haven’t done it for awhile), and you will see how important is the role of a women, especially ‘a mother’ at home that we will take, someday, soon, insyaAllah. Maybe, that’s why my religion teaches its followers to place our ‘mother’ before any other person in our life. And this is, one of my favorite quotes about woman which said by one of Indonesian Actress, Dian Paramita Sastrowardoyo,

“Whether being a career woman or being a housewife, a woman needs to have a high education because one day she will be a mother. Smart mothers will raise smart children.”

Being a career woman or being a housewife, it’s the same thing - because however, a married woman needs to be a housewife for her family. It is not a formal duty like what a career woman’s got at her office, but it’s the gift from Allah that woman has to take :) The key is so simple, be wise enough and keep remember which thing that need to be prioritized.
