Trip to Bromo

Salah satu keinginan yang muncul dan terwujud di penghujung tahun ini. Suatu hari di minggu terakhir November, aku merasa belum banyak hal yang sudah aku lakukan sampai sekarang. Banyak hal yang belum sempat aku lakukan sebelumnya, salah satunya adalah travelling, bahkan hanya ke tempat yang tdk begitu jauh juga dr tempat tinggalku, karena waktu dulu aku merasa, kalau aku ingin kesana-kemari artinya aku akan merepotkan orang tuaku karena harus mengeluarkan biaya lebih untuk kesenanganku.

Awalnya, aku tiba-tiba benar-benar ingin bisa pergi ke Kawah Ijen, atau ke Ranu Kumbolo atau naik gunung manapun, namun sayang sekali, Ranu Kombolo masih tutup sekarang ini, sdgkan Kawah Ijen, aku blm dpt banyak massa utk pergi kesana. Tp doakan ttp bs kesana yaa

Nah, doaku kali ini terwujud jg dr arah yg tdk disangka-sangka. Ini adalah pengalaman naik gunung pertamaku, tp mungkin ini lebih cocok disebut sebagai bukit drpd sebagai gunung, karena ketinggiannya bahkan ga sampai 1000 hahaha. Tapi lumayan lah, alih-alih gajadi naik ke Ranu Kombolo, waktu naik  gunung itu aku dpt pemandangan gratis dr Gunung Semeru jg loh.. Untuk yang satu ini, aku akan ceritakan detailnya kira-kira bulan Januari aja yah. Karena, sementara ini, ini masih proyek rahasia hahaha.

Nah, doa yang terkabulkan selanjutnya adalah, di minggu ke-2 Desember ini, aku diajak sepupuku ke Bromo. Jadi ceritanya, waktu akhir November itu aku ketemu sm sepupuku. Kita janjian nonton Frozen II waktu itu hahaha. Eh terus disana, tbtb dia ngajak, "Mbak ke Bromo yuk?" yaampun, kok bisaa yaa? batinku. Ya otomotis aku iyakan lah ajakannya. Aku sudah lama banget pengen ke Bromo lagi, terakhir kali aku kesana, aku inget banget, aku masih umur 17 tahun. Berarti udah 7 tahun yang lalu, dan waktu itu aku sm keluargaku cuma bs naik ke penanjakannya aja. Karena, waktu itu ayahku ngelobby penjaga disana untuk naik pakai mobil pribadi aja, dan waktu mau ke bukit pasir, menurut ayahku, ban mobilnya ga cocok disana. Yaudah akhirnya kita lgsg turun deh. 

Lucunya, kurang sehari dr hari keberangkatan itu, 15 Desember 2019, jujur aku lupa kalau aku ada janji buat ke Bromo. Karena hari Kamis sebelumnya itu mendadak aku dpt perintah dinas di luar kota. Waktu sepupuku kirim chat itu, aku masih diperjalanan pulang. Auto pusing waktu bc chatnya, krn jujur kondisi badan udh mulai jompo waktu pulang itu. Akhirnya, hari Sabtu siang aku baru balik Surabaya. Lalu sampai rumah dr Siang smp Sore aku puasin tiduran. Malemnya, jam 21.00 aku dijemput sama sepupuku. Awalnya, sepupuku berencana brgkt ke Bromo cuma bertiga, aku dia sm adikku Riza. Tp akunya sendiri ga yakin. Mana mobilnya, mobil city car gitu. Kayak, aku merasa ga aman aja kl cuma cewek-cewek bertiga, aku udah lama ga kesana, dan aku juga kondisi ga seberapa fit krn masih kecapek'an. Tapi Alhamdulillah, di last minute, sepupuku berhasil ngajak 2 temen cowonya. Dan beruntungnya, adek-adek ini super kocak & baik banget. Jadilah, hari itu kita berangkat ke Bromo ber-5.

Sebenernya, di jalan itu, ada aja kejadian yang bikin berpikiran negatif. Dr yg mulai hampir senggolan sama mobil freed yang ruesek & ngawur banget nyetirnya. Terus, tiba-tiba pas nyampe di tol Pasuruan, hujan turun lumayan deras. Terus ada kejadian juga hampir nabrak kucing. Tapi Alhamdulillah kita ga kenapa-napa dan sampai rumah lagi dengan selamat.

Hari itu, kita memutuskan buat naik ke Bromo lewat jalur Pasuruan - Tosari. Jalanannya agak sepi waktu kita naik, kira-kira memakan waktu 1 jam an buat sampe di Tosari. Sesampainya di area persewaan hard top, orang-orang disana menyebutnya pertigaan Banyu Petung. Kalian harus terbiasa, karena akan ada banyak orang yang otomatis mengelilingi mobil kalian buat nawarin sewa hard top, jualan topi syal sarung tangan, dan lain-lain. Oh iya, sebelum kalian sampe di Banyu Petung, kira-kira 15 menit di bawahnya akan ada orang2 yang memberhentikan kalian buat bayar uang retribusi (kalo kata guide kita, itu uang buat dibayar ke desa-desa) yang harganya Rp 5000 / orang. Hari itu juga, kita daper persewaan hard top dengan biaya Rp 600.000 untuk kapasitas maks. 6 orang, ditambah tiket masuk Rp 35.000 / orang. Fasilitasnya, kita akan dianterin ke 4 tempat wisata di Bromo yaitu Penanjakan, Savana, Bukit Teletabis, dan Kawah Bromo. Tripnya sendiri, biasanya kalo dimulai dr mulai lihat sunrise, kira-kira selesai sekitar jam 11'an siang.

Alhamdulillah, kita dapet guide yang baik. Pro juga nyetirnya, hard top nya juga ga kenapa-napa selama perjalanan. Hari itu, Bromo tidak sedingin waktu terakhir kali aku kesana 7 tahun yang lalu. Jujur ya, aku dulu kedinginan yang parah gitu waktu naik, suhunya -4 derajat. dan gunungnya bener-bener di atas awan. Nah, mungkin karena waktu di Penanjakan kemarin turun hujan, jadinya ga sbrp dingin dan awan-awannya gaada. Tapi Bromo tetap indah hari itu. Di penanjakan, kita menikmati sunrise sambil makan Indomie. Ohya, buat yang khawatir gimana Shalat Subuhnya kalau waktu lihat sunrise, di tempat aku makan kemarin, menyediakan musholla. Jadi kalian gausah khawatir.

Setelah dari penanjakan, kita beranjak ke bukit Teletabis. Dan buatku, itu spot terfavoritku sih. Cuacanya nyaman banget karena abis hujan sebelumnya. Jadi mataharinya teduh, rumput-rumputnya menyimpan bulir-bulir air, sehingga kerasa sejuk aja.. Selain itu, kalau abis ujan, pasir-pasir di savana nya jadi agak terkonsolidasi waktu dilewatin, jdnya ga sbrp berdebu, dan guide nya pun jadi lebih mudah buat mengendarai mobilnya. Bukit Teletabis indah bangeet, ga kalah sama Swiss kali ya. 

Dan ini adalah spot terakhir yang kita kunjungi, Kawah Bromo. Tapi hari itu, kita memutuskan buat ga naik. Karena udah mulai panas, berdebu, dan kita semua sudah mulai capek hahahaha. Aku sama riza memutuskan buat ngga naik kesitu, biar masih ada yang kita penasaran'in dari Bromo dan kesana lagi sama keluarga kita (alesan hahaha). OK! Segitu dulu! Tunggu cerita dari proyek rahasia & trip-trip ku selanjutnya yaah! Semoga Allah selalu kasih kejutan dalam mengabulkan doa-doaku lainnya. HEHEHEH aamiin

Hello, 2017!

Hi, Marmut!

Setelah saya lihat-lihat, blog saya isinya mulai gloomy lagi ya. Hehehe, sebab memang perjalanan yang lebih sering saya arungi adalah perjalanan perasaan, selebihnya saya kurang ada waktu (beuh) buat melakukan, selain itu kurang ada dana juga. Jadi ya.. perjalanannya mungkin berkisar rumah-kampus-rumah kedua-rumah adik les-rumah gitu terus atau mungkin ada rute tambahan ke mall-superindo dekat rumah kedua. Oleh karena itu, sebenarnya banyak sekali tumpukan draft yang isinya lebih ke melodrama-way sehingga berhujung tidak jadi di post. Memang, hidup akhir-akhir ini terasa agak flat, dan gejolak yang ada, mayoritas terjadinya di dalam hati. So, pardon me blog for those blue and gloomy writings in here lately. I'd like to replace them with many beautiful and happy stories in return.. if Allah gives me the chances hopefully. :) Ohya, dan by the way! Akhir-akhir ini lebih aktif update seputar kisah hidup di tumblr, karena emang disana lebih mudah diakses! Selain itu, belum nemu aplikasi blogging yang ga ribet untuk blogspot di iOS, mungkin ada saran? Jadi sangat agak males untuk bercerita disini, sebab rada susah buat mindahin foto-foto! Dan kadang, rada males juga buat ngetik yang panjang sehingga cerita hanya diwakilkan dengan foto-foto. Wkwk terlalu banyak alasan yah? Namun, karena ini sudah memasuki liburan semester ganjil di universitas saya, welcome back blog!

How is  the 2017 so far, guys? Hope it was good and it would be for the rest of it yhaa! Baru berapa hari sih? Empat kan ya. Agak nggak percaya juga kalau tahunnya sudah berganti lagi. Terlalu cepat rasanya! Mengakhiri tahun 2016 dengan kejadian-kejadian yang agak menguji rasa sabar dan ikhlas, ya Allah, kayak cobaan kok ada-ada saja gitu... Namun, yaa begitulah hidup. Pada akhirnya, cuman harus menerima kan ya? Dan percaya kalau semuanya akan baik-baik saja. Agree?  Terima kasih 2016 untuk pelajaran hidupnya. Semoga saya mampu menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik dan lebih dewasa tentunya.. dalam bertindak maupun berperilaku.

2017 akan menjadi tahun yang sangat penting dan melegendaris dalam perjalanan hidup saya. InsyaAllah, semoga dapat lulus dengan gelar sarjana di tahun ini. Aaamiiiin ya Rabbal alamin. Lalu, mulai mengejar satu persatu target berikutnya. Most of the time, I was thrown in between anxious, curious, scared, you named it.. ! Tetapi gimanapun, saat itu akan datang juga! When life slapped me right on my face, that I need to get up, and be ready about whatever that coming in reality.. haaahh

Hmm, kemarin mengawali awal tahun dengan jalan-jalan bersama, hahaha. Kita nonton Star Wars Rogue One lohh! Dan gak tahu kenapa, saya terkesima sekali waktu menontonnya! Wkakaka, ceritanya nih, saya kan nonton hari.. Minggu ya. Nah, seminggu sebelumnya, saya itu bermalam sama adik saya di rumah Nginden yang notabene layanan tv kabelnya baru aja diganti. Berhubung itu malam natal, di TV itu banyakk banget film-film, termasuk salah satunya Star Wars yang Force Awakens. Pertama kali lihat itu, langsung ketagihan aja. Suka sama karakter-karakter dan animasinya! Wkwk Rey is super cool, indeed. Dan waktu tahu Rogue One  yang main itu Felicity Jones, makin lah pengen lihat! Jadi waktu diajakin nonton itu langsung mau deh.Yippiiieeeee! That day was so fun! Jadi pengen beli merchandise nya Star Wars wkwkwkwk bahayaa iniihhh. Tidaaak!

Oh iyaa. Saya sama mbik tadi jadi anak kedokteran sehari loh! Numpang ngasih surprise dan foto doang sih disana. Uhuuuyyy Selamat Pinuuuu S.Ked nya! Weee doain kita-kita yang masih baru sidang proposal yaa! Semoga lancar koas nya, bermanfaat ilmunya, dan bisa jadi dokter yang dapat mensejahterakan banyak orang dengan kesehatan. Kesehatan itu modal utama lohh. Tadi jadi mikir.. rasanya beda latar belakang banget ya antara anak teknik dan kedokteran. Kalau teknik, hubungannya dengan benda mati, nah kalau dokter, hubungannya langsung dengan makhluk hidup. It brings a really different responsibility.. Namun, apapun disiplin ilmunya, yang terpenting semoga dapat memberi manfaat untuk khalayak banyak. ;) Wkwkwk waktu tadi berkunjung kesana, yang senang adalah bisa bertemu lagi sama beberapa teman-teman. Dan beneran yaa.. dunia itu serasa sempit sekali. Bahkan, saya tadi ketemu anak yang waktu itu pernah ngetes gula darah eyang saya waktu jalan-jalan di Taman Bungkul dan dia masih inget aja wkwkwk. Terus ngga sengaja ketemu juga sama kembaran saya waktu SMA, sekarang udah beda sih, dianya makin kurus, sayanya makin... Ah sudahlah.

Yap. Segitu dulu ceritanya. Sampai jumpa di cerita-cerita selanjutnya yaah, Marmut! Kamu jangan galau yaa! 2017 akan jadi tahun yang lebih bahagia, semangat semangatt. May the force be with you! B)

bucket list!

yey finally today I went here! :) 

Has always been dreaming to go to Tugu Pahlawan since several years ago but I just could make it today. Would probably be my last in-town-trip for this semester's holiday. Went there around 12 a.m in this kind of sunny day but fortunately the air breeze was still there so it didn't feel really hot, only took several photos because as you know, I'm a shame person... :p and wouldn't tell you who was accompany me but I'm feeling so thankful for that person he..he..he.. ended today's trip by watching Mission Impossible 5 and eating fried rice together at ITS.  What a happy day! alhamdulillah :3

Love, Rosie

Hello world! It's morning again. Before starting the productive days ahead, would like to share some thought here. Well, after almost a month sparing my times for it, finally last night I finished reading the novel of Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern, yey :) and ended by falling in love more with the book version rather than the film. but they both actually leave the same feeling for me, the story was just too sweet yet heart-breaking all at once, fortunately they ended in a happy way though it takes 50 years due to the book version.

I always wonder why the title is Love, Rosie? Not Love Rosie? and finally found the answer after reading this. I like the way Cecelia tells the stories only through the letters, chatting, and email that've been written by the characters on this novel. The way she arranges the words and how Rosie can write every detail that happens in her life becomes so entertaining. This book will show you how people can fall in love only through letters that written upon papers.. a screen of computer.. or a phone.. for 50 years and through miles! America - Ireland, it sweets :)

I love the way Cecelia tells the stories about family, friendship, and lovers - bond between the characters on it. The Dunne Family, The friendship bond between Alex - Rosie, Katie - Toby, or Rosie - Ruby. Life happens that way, some taste sweets, some may bitter. But when you hold on and have a patience, we all will get what we deserve. You guys should read it too! I recommend you. I bet you will get so many (wise) quotes about life after reading this book wkwk :P

There’s something completely unnerving about seeing your parents upset. I suppose it’s because they’re supposed to be the strong ones, but that’s not just it. Ever since people are kids they use their parents as some sort of  measurement for how bad a situation is. When you fall on the ground really hard and you can’t figure out whether it hurts or not you look to your parents. If they look worried and rush toward you, you cry. If they laugh and smack the ground saying “Bold ground,” then you pick yourself up and get on with it.

Parents are the barometers of emotions for children and it has a domino effect. I had never seen my mum cry so much in all of my life which scared me and made me cry which scared Katie and made her cry. We all cried together.

As for Dad, he was supposed to live forever. The one who could open all the jar lids nobody else could, who fixed whatever was broken, was supposed to do that forever. The man who let me sit on his shoulders, climb on his back, chase me around while making monster noises, throw me in the air and catch me, spin me around so much until I felt dizzy and fell over laughing.

And in the end without being able to say thank you and a proper goodbye, my final memories of him turn into coffin sizes and medical forms.

There’s nothing more uplifting than to hear the sound of an innocent child being so happy in a place that people are sad. It reminds you that life goes on and on and on, just not for the one you’re saying good-bye to. People come and people go and we know this happens, yet we get such a shock when it does. To use that old cliché, the only certainty in life is death. It’s a certainty, it’s the one condition of living that we’re given but we often let it tear us

Terbayar sudah. Itu adalah kata pertama yang terbesit dalam hati ketika saya melihat video ini. Rasanya hanya ingin tersenyum dan merasa terharu ketika melihatnya.

Setelah pahit-manis kerja keras beberapa bulan kemarin, akhirnya semua berakhir dengan indah. Mungkin saya tidak memulai perjuangan seawal teman-teman pengurus harian dan konseptor lainnya, dan jujur saja ini sangat mempengaruhi kinerja saya di awal. Mungkin saya hanya bagian kecil dari tim besar yang selalu mengukir cerita baru di tiap tahunnya. Banyak hal yang harus saya korbankan beberapa bulan terakhir ini, mulai dari tenaga, waktu, dan pikiran. Perjuangan luar biasa sampai akhirnya satu persatu perjuangan saya mendekati titik akhirnya. Terikat dengan tiga tugas dalam satu waktu dan faktor kesehatan yang sedang buruk, membuat saya benar-benar belajar banyak tentang hidup, bisa dikatakan- dalam semester IV ini. Mulai dari rapat hampir setiap hari, pembahasan yang beda, pembagian waktu yang tumpang tindih, mobilisasi kesana kemari, semua nggak akan bisa saya laksanakan tanpa bantuan teman-teman. Walaupun harus dicemoh, walaupun harus merasakan beban moral, walaupun harus dimarahi orang tua, bahkan berat badan saya sampai turun sebanyak 6 kilo wkwkwkwk, tapi saya bersyukur.. semuanya bisa saya selesaikan pada akhirnya.

Nggak bisa bayangin, kalau malam itu, saya masih merasa sungkan dan takut untuk menelepon pakde. Alhamdulillah, dengan dorongan teman-teman dan kondisi rapat yang sangat sangat baik, akhirnya  saya memutuskan untuk menelepon beliau sehingga bisa mendapat kabar baik. :')

Mulai dari persiapan, pencarian dana, rapat koordinasi, sampai akhirnya hari H TM, perlombaan, dan penutupan selesai, semua punya ceritanya masing-masing. Saya ingat betul, rasanya panik waktu denger ada peserta yang terluka sampai dijahit belasan jahitan, bahkan ga hanya sekali saya pergi ke rumah sakit hari itu, rasanya mengurus administrasi, bersosialisasi dengan orang tua, yang ini paling deg-degan, harus berbicara dengan orang yang saya belum pernah tahu karakternya, apalagi bertemu karena kondisi yang tidak baik, alhamdulillah masalah akhirnya juga selesai. Berpergian bersama 6 teman buat mengambil uang hadiah, haha nyampe rasanya punya bodyguard pribadi gitu, heheehe, udah gitu ditraktir kue bulet-bulet. Saya juga ingat.. suatu siang saya nangis di McD gara-gara kejadian yang menurut saya gak adil oleh seorang mbak mbak teller dan baper juga sih, wkwkwkwk. Seharian waktu closing party bawa ransel kemana-mana karena isinya weitsss hahaahha. Di kampus sampe malem terus ngelihat temen-temen muterin kampus pake troller sambil nyanyi-nyanyi buat nyiptain euforia. Seru banget! Ngelihatin kerja kerasnya temen-temen dari masing-masing event buat TM, buat ngoreksi, buat bikin kunci jawaban, buat ngajarin adek-adeknya. Ngurus ke bank lah gini lah, datanya ga sama lah, ini nya masih minus lah, ada perlu ini perlu itu. Nggak bayangin deh kalo gaada orang-orang baik seperti teman-teman huhu...

Coba gak ada kalian. Coba saya ga ngapa-ngapain. Kangen gak sih kalian? Sumpah saya kuangen banget rek. Kangen suasananya. Kangen kerja kerasnya. Kangen rapatnya. Kangen ngalem-ngalemnya. Kangen mikir bareng-barengnya. Kangen mangkel-mangkelnya (kadang wkwk). Kangen kekeluargaannya. Kangen nata audit sambil nyanyi-nyanyi sambil main gitar sambil ngerumpi. Kangen makan di Gotri terus aku yang nyetirin mobil kayak ibu nganterin anaknya. Kangen duduk-duduk di lobby saking aku gapunya jobdesc pasti. Kangen pergi bareng ke Plaza Marina. Kangen nganter-nganterin konsumsi ke Rumah Sakit Haji sambil belanja di Giant. Kangen njemput Icak buat jualan angkatan. Kangen rapat rame-rame mikir semua di R.14 dan Audit. Kangen nata-natain kelas sampe mualem, sampe hujan-hujan  itu. Kangen jemputin Vio pagi-pagi wkwkwk terus LINE ku jadi di add sama Ujik. Kangen gelendot di R.14. Kangen nyetel lagu pake sound di gazebo. Kangen gangguin anak ngoreksi di R.13. Kangen di R.4 nyariin kunci di kampus gara-gara kuncinya saya ilangin. Dan buanyak deh lainnya.

Ya, selalu ada cerita baru ketika kita berjalan kedepan.

Hey blog..

finally i got a free time for awhile, at least it's still 4 hours until i need to do something again. so, I want to fulfill my promise to someone that asked me at ask.fm hehe..

yes, I've been being so busy lately.. my academic and non academic's activities, both kept me running, mostly at this November. I even never spent my weekend at home! So these are what I did last month.. (especially at the weekend)

1) Done one of training's following event at my campus.

2) Done one of my task, went out with friends, slept over at her house, then the next day I went to Car free day, and played basketball.

3) Went to support my major KJI team at Malang

4) Had RAKER and watched Maliq.

and at the weekdays, I had a super tiring school's days because I got such a much tasks, a heavy series of practices, lot of evaluations, and another activities.

It can be a super long story if I should write every detail that happened to me, so I will just tell you the highlight part of it ;-) okey?

So, the training's following event that I've done was called TD Pusaka. I was being an OC in there. Like usual, I need to prepare things that needed, wake up earlier, etc. But the good news is I did it with my other 50+25 friends :) So, the tiredness were paid back by having a good time with them! :) Btw, from that activity, me and my friends have new toy to play, it's called "Break claps". It's a series of clapping hand with different patterns from 1 to 7, and it's challenging because it has a nice and engrossed sounds. Beside that, me and Vio was taught (not-so) privately by someone that I can't tell the name. :p

The next weekend, I had an even crazier days! It happened when my friends, Vio and Bibib asked to finish our Mektek Task together. actually, we supposed to do it at KFC Kertajaya with Hisyam, but suddenly these two girls popped front of my house, and all the plans were changed. At the end, we've done it at my house while eating an ice cream that we bought earlier :) But not so long after we started to do our homework.. we got bored.. and had an idea to go to Sutos instead hahaha! So.. yeah there we go.. SUTOS at 10 P.M!

Guess what we did in there? Yes, after goofing around for couple times, enter the stationery's store, watching people eating, then we end up by entering the cinema, buying the popcorn. And... only...watching.. trailer of films! :p

at 12 PM we went back, I had a sleepover at Vio's. It was raining on that day.. and suddenly omik answered my message, so we were chatting for awhile, but he's on busy mode that early morning so I decided joining Vio to sleep hihi. The next morning, Bibib picked me and Vio up! We went to help Icak vend at Car Free Day Darmo. Me and Vio bought socks in there! It was only 5000 and we got two pairs of it! :D So cheap huh, after tired walking around in there, finally we found Icak. Then we bought many foods, yeah! I ate up 1 portion of fried rice and 2 portions of grilled meatballs. Hweheheheehhhhh, so full! :)

After had my stomach full, we went to Basketball court at ITS Sukolilo. yeah, I played for some minutes in there :)) only randomly running with my shoes off.. and it felt hot! I also played free throw ball with Bibib and Vio. So, we had terms that before we throw the ball we should shout the name of someone that disturbing our mind hahahaha. So.. when I got my 3rd turned, I shout Tommy's name. "Ini buaaaaaaat omiiiiik" then I throw the ball, and dang! it was goal! :p But when I told him this story, he said that it was dramatic --" *sobs* yeah.. that's how I ended my crazy 2nd weekend! Woho!

Well..now we got on the 3rd weekend part. It will take too much words to describe the happiness of my 3rd weekend's journey. Maybe, these videos and pictures below would tell you better :)

our happy faces! finally, beach!

This journey was especially dedicated for our friend Tiara who needs a refreshment because of something :) I hope you won't ever be sad again! After supporting our major's team at KJI and KBGI events, we made our own holiday! Yes, we spent 3 days and 2 nights at Batu-Malang. I was so happy that days, I met some of my high school's friends too in there, they were Hendro, Devy, and Nanda. It was good to feel the nice and cold weather of Batu-Malang (again).. having jokes with friends.. spent the night together.. at Alun-alun, at the car along the journey, etc. Being with the ones you loved and love you, always good, right? :)

Finally.... I reach the last part! It's my 4th weekend!

So, I have a new activity, I got accepted for being a staff at BEM FTSP, I'm at Communication and Information Department. I dont know how.. but I really liked my job.. It's like I'm not doing anything, because everything that I gotta do.. were my hobbies! Writing.. capturing moments.. editing photos. :) I know, Allah always knows the best. right? alhamdulillah. What's more exciting about it? I met many new friends in there. Hopefully I can get along well with them.. do every of my tasks in here well too.. and be consistent aamiin!

after finished the raker sessions. Bibib and Vio (again) picked me up! Because we need to catch our interview test at chemical engineering building. Hehe, it was my first time went there, seriously guys after a year! ckckckck. Well.. if you 're going to ask me how was the test going?.. you better not :-) Maybe vio and bibib would answer it better (because they found something interesting in there..hahahaa).

After we've done the interview sessions, we went to mosque and had a long chat in there. and at 8PM we went eating at East Coast, and as the closing part of this year's November! We watched Maliq D' Essentials! Woo! I thought, it was a great performance by them, because it has been awhile since the last time I watched a music concert..hehe.. by the way.. have i tell you that Bibib had her birthday on that 30th November? kindly shout "Happy birthday Bibib" yaa! And also don't forget to wish her the best wishes :)

Wind, sky, and you

Hey, blog! I'm back again! :)

Last Saturday and Sunday, me and my other four friends just had a short holiday to Malang :) Well, actually we supposed to look for villa for our major's event next month in there.. But beside that, we took our times and had fun instead. :-p

So, we went there from Surabaya at 11a.m on Saturday morning, actually it supposed to be at 5a.m, but because of my sudden event, we couldn't make it, and end up went there at 11a.m. The traffic was kinda crowded that day, it took 6hours for us to arrive at Malang, and.. luckily the weather was not so hot, it was kinda gloomy, even we wished that it will rain, but it wasn't. We sang a lot at car, talking this and that.. you know, heart's problems =)) took photos, made video, slept, ate, and so many else. 

Finally, at 17.17 we arrived at Egar's house. Placed at Jalan Sulfat, Malang, it has a super cozy environment, also the weather, it was cool, kinda windy, and the grey sky, made it feel perfect! After entering the house, Egar's mom was greeting us, and let us cleaning our self. The girls were sleeping at Egar's room which all is colored blue (and i think, omik would love it) then the boys were sleeping at Egar's sister's room which dominated with pink, hahahaha. After had some rest, Egar's parents invited us to have a dinner outside and we ate Sop Ayam! Which made us so full at a blink of eye! Ugh, but it was a delicious choice in that kind of weather, thank you so much om dan tante for the foods heheh! :)

After done eating, Me, bibib, temon, icak, palom were going to Payung. (Egar couldn't join us because he was sick), We seek for that famous starry night Batu's view in there~ Though the traffic was kinda jam.. we still enjoy our trip.. and finally arrived there. After moved from one place to another because of so many reasons, we could finally decide a place and delivered some foods! Like, milk, bread toast, and grilled corn. I enjoy gazing at the night's view.. though it's kinda cold, i felt happiness running through my veins, and made me feel warmer within myself. You know.. as I passed every way into there, I saw many old films playing in my mind, like.. every place has its own memory at my heart.. and i missed them all. But now, 3 years after that, i have my new journey with new people, making new stories all over again, and i figure out how fast times are. :) After enough enjoying the night, we back to Egar's house, and arrived there at 11.54 pm. Soon, after we entered the house, 3 people were directly pray Isya, and the left 2 were busy took out their stomach's contents wkwkwk, soon then we slept !

The 2nd daay, we went to Cuban Rondo Waterfall. Honestly, that was my first time going there =)) Like usual, we took photos, entered the pond, and the water was supppeerrr cold =)) From Cuban Rondo, we had lunch with Egar, Jija, Dzul, and Egar's brother at Waroeng Bamboe. Was a cozy restaurant with good concept. Lastly, we went to find the villa, haha!

Around 5 pm, we had our way to go back to Surabaya. Not doing much in the car, because everyone was already tired. (feeling sorry for Temon because he couldn't take a rest as long as the journey like we do). Was another great journey with friends :) and my personal companion who company me even when it was only through the phone, haha! looking forward for the next. Hopefully soon yah! Thanks everybody.

Main air !

Jumat pagi selalu identik dengan main air !

Semester 3 ini. wihhh! Kuliahnya hemm kerasa kuliah banget! Dulu waktu SMA, guru olahragaku, Pak Dicky, sering cerita-cerita, terus kasih intermezzo gitu, katanya kalo di ITS itu tugasnya buwanyaakk, sampek-sampek mahasiswanya bikin singkatan gitu, ITS -> Isok Turu Sangar. ITS -> Istirahat Tidak Sempat. wahahaha dan ternyata aku masuk ITS dan ternyata beneran pek, sampek waktu semester 2 kemarin aku dilematis sama yang namanya tidur ! Bingung antara harus tidur sama "haruskah tidur" aneh banget kan tuh.. padahal kan tidur enak bingits :-(

Tapi disamping capek-capeknya, sebenernya kuliah semester 3 sampai minggu ke 6 ini menurutku seru! Soalnya beda banget sama di tahun pertama kemarin. Kan masih kayak yang dasar-dasar banget, kalo sekarang uda mulai banyak kayak..e gimana sih kalo di lapangan nantik. Apalagi kelasku di ajarin sama beberapa dosen yang sebelumnya belum pernah ngisi di kelas, dan beliau-beliau ini udah ahli di lapangan gitu.. jadi lebih tertantang. Uda mulai ada keinginan, kayak pengen konsentrasi kemana gitu.. dan sampai sekarang ini, aku agak tertarik sama.. ilmu beton, ilmu tanah, sama manajemen konstruksi.. Berat sih emang kuliah, tugas-tugasnya, evaluasinya, yang sering banget bertabrakan, numpuk-numpuk, dan ga ilok banget :-(

Aku pernah lagi sharing sama mbak sepupuku, yang orangnya tuh, keren banget! One of my role model lah, kita tuh sama-sama cucu cewek tertua di keluarga, terus dulu mba nya juga alumni spensa, alumni smada, terus alumni ITS juga, dan skrg lagi dpt scholarship S2 di London. Keren abis! Waktu itu aku pernah cerita, aku takut, kenapa sampe sekarang kayak aku blm nemu passionku, kayak masih abu-abu sebenernya aku itu cocoknya dimana sih, ahli nya dimana sih, bakal bisa perform maksimal dimana sih, takut dan takut, terus mba diz bilang sama aku kayak gini,

"Proses belajar itu ada 3 riz,

Ketika kamu dapet atau kamu lagi belajar sesuatu, terus kamu ngerasa, 'Oh ini ta? ini aku mah udah tau dan uda bisa', itu berarti kamu lagi ada di tingkat belajar paling bawah, paling dasar.

Terus kalo kamu belajar lagi dan kamu ngerasa, 'loh gimana tuh ya? tadi gimana sih? yang bagian A ini gimana?', itu berarti kamu uda naik satu tingkat lagi dari tingkat sebelumnya

Dan ketika kamu belajar, terus kamu ngerasa, "Duh aku bodoh banget ya, gatau deh tadi itu semua apaan", ketika kamu ngerasa gabisa apa-apa, kamu ada di fase belajar paling tinggi.

Belajar itu proses dari tidak tau menjadi tau kan. Sekali lagi itu proses, bukan sesuatu yang instan."

Aku seneng banget! Sekarang kayak sudah dapet gambaran pengen kemana! Kayak kalo waktu aku duduk di kelas 6SD aku bikin goal harus bisa lanjutin ke SMPN 1. Terus waktu duduk di kelas 9SMP aku bikin goal bisa lanjutin ke SMAN komplek. Terus waktu duduk  di kelas 12SMA bikin goal bisa lanjutin ke Sipil dan Perencanaan, gitu deh.

Ramadhan Kareem 1435

my life this week in a frame

WHOAAA I must have been abandon my Pile of Dust, right? hmmm, since I've done doing my chores's list, I think i can spend a little time here :)

So what has been happening these past days?

Actually, I had lotta things happened, but much of it, are about went to somewhere either with my family or my friends. It's holiday, so i think, i deserve enough to have it, even- I may deserve more! Hahaha, but however, alhamdulillah, thank you, Allah :)

It almost reach the 2nd week of Ramadhan's month. Times walk way too fast, don't you think huh? But it kinda gloomy at my home, since my brother can't joining this Ramadhan at home, since he has to follow his academic's regulation at Kediri. Also, most times, my daddy is going out from the city to have done his work. And my mommy and sister busy take care of the school's entrance. Pssst i tell you, my sister made a big success, alhamdulillah, she got accepted at 1 JHS (just like me), I'm really a proud sister ever. ;) And that's why,  i feel kinda lonesome most time. And, it's kinda hard for me to go outside, since there's no vehicle left when everyone goes out.

Hmmm, first week of Ramadhan i mostly spend at home, chatting, watching Running Man, watching World Cup at the night, Sahur, reading Quran with my sister, helping mum prepare the meals, cleaning the house, eating, sleeping, praying, picking up my grammy to check up --" Until, at Saturday I went out with Aho and Dinar, yehaa finally we met up after a year, dinar said, it's been soooo long rite? <3

Actually, we wanted to ride on Surabaya Heritage (a famous bus that will take you to some tourist's destination places in Surabaya) from House of Sampoerna. But unfortunately we didn't make it, because we ran out of the places :< So then, we just walked around and take some selfie with Aho's tongsis (nak gahoelz bet dah) After felt content of roaming around in there, we decided to go to Tunjungan Plaza, because Aho wanted to look on some shoes in there. And we spent the whole times there until breakfasting. Psst i didn't recommend you to do this, because it consumed much energies of your Sahur meals, you couldn't find any seats to relieve your legs even for a minute.. haaa :p

The next days, hmm, went quite bit absurd.. I just picked up my mommy to mall. My daddy to airport, with my brother, since my daddy took the morning flight, me and my brother watched the World Cup at car hahaha. And then, there was also The Election day, at 9th July, really curious (as always) about the result. I hope, whatever the result that come out, they will become the responsible President who will listen and care to their citizens.

A short trip to London!

3R went to London ^^

Yesterday me and my two friends, Rizky and Riky were going to an UK education expo that held by SUN, placed at Ballroom JW Marriot Surabaya, started from 10am to 6pm. And I didn't regret a bit for coming there! We got some packaged which contain of a guide book for study overseas in some countries and pen. Also, we could take a pict (and got the printed of it) with the background and properties of famous things in London, and it was free! :P

Then, we entered the auditorium. There were various desks based on the university with two tutors. Some is a foreigner, and you could choose which university you would like to know and asked there anything! Whether about the major, the cost, the locations, the things you need to prepare, etc. Since Me and my friends are still in first year, we didn't ask things that "muluk-muluk".. at least, we knew what things we should prepare from now if we really want to go there someday (aamiin).

Here're some important  info that I got if you want to apply for school at London, especially S2 programs:

1. Transcript in English, min. IP 3.

2. IELTS min. 6, TOEFL IBT min. 90

3. Reference from two college lecturers! 

4. Passport, visa, and lots of money (if you don't get a scholarship, you need to prepare money around Rp 290 million for the study cost per semester)

Okay that's all what I can share to you :3

By the way, today I came to a (real)-graduation at Graha ITS, it's kind of farewell party for some of my seniors that finally can wear a Toga and make their parents proud of them. I heard the speaker calling their name and said "LULUS DENGAN PUJIAN". Subbhanallah, hopefully me and all of my friends could hear that 3 years from now.. 

I know, the road is still long way to go. So, just keep the spirit up! May Allah always copes all of our dreams :)

People say "Be with the people who bring out the best of you", and I couldn't agree more with those sentences. That's a true statement ever. Simply, because we live only once. So why we must wasting our times on someone who doesn't care with us and only make us sick?
But, however, i still do that sometimes hahaha

I just had a good conversation with someone, who I preferably call as a brother for me, and honestly deep..deep..down inside, somehow I really thankful that destiny met me up with this kind and caring brother like him. Maybe, from outside people will think, that he's someone who less concerned with things around him.. Because he keeps acting cool ._. and stays silent all the way :)) But after I got to know him, I found out that was a really wrong point of view -,- You know, he could suddenly laughing when you ain't even talking to him, just because you're saying one silly word accidentally to someone else.

I always have a good time whenever i get time to chit chat with him, he's really a good companion to talk with, because I can share so many things, whether about my college, my hobby, my lessons, etc :D He's someone who can equal my talks, my thoughts, and my jokes. He can give me an advice. A new information. A new perspective. Tell me what I should or I shouldn't do as well. And that's a good thing. Because, I like it when someone tell me directly which I should have done rather than just saying "that's up to you.." everytime I ask them :) He ever told me, to keep doing what I love. Yes, it's something I love. He said that it's kind of pity..if i stopped doing what I have an ability on, just because, I'm too lazy.

So happy to have lovely people around. For me, everyone is like a rainbow, they have their own color. Maybe sometimes, we can't be one thought with them, because, yes we have differences in every thinking point, and it's a normal thing :) Living with an understanding is a beautiful thing, despite so many differences, we learn to understand and accept others perspective. And what we mostly not realize is, when we tolerate each other, we enrich our thinking ways with that.

Can't wait to have another good time and conversation with you, bro. Especially like on that rainy afternoon. Thanks a lot for always boosted my mood up! ;)

Three Gorges DAM

Hey, I Just watched National Geographic Channel. It's talking about Three Gorges DAM in China. They compare it with others barrage which already built earlier than this, such as.. Hoover DAM in USA, Krasnoyarsk DAM in Russia, etc.

I could take a summary from watching this spectacle, that, how important is it to learn from others things that has been there earlier. Yes, we should make an evaluation from things around us. We should learn, which one is good and which one is bad from that things, then.. we use and follow the good ones and we change/recycle/rearrange the bad ones. So that, we could.. produce a better thing afterwards 

In this show, NatGeo channel showed us, how.. greater is it the Three Gorges DAM at China, its strength, its making way, its used technology, its mechanism, its surplus, its different than the others dam in the world. And it is really really massive cool! This show showed us, how wisdom are the Chinese people in the making of this dam.

I can't exactly tell you what's the intention of this barrage with another barrage, since it used a higher language on Civil theory.. (especially on water construction major) So you better, find its video (I provide you one below)

What makes the Three Gorges Dam special?

1. to construct this barrage, China needs to move away numbers of its population. They migrate them to some places in country, it also impact on China's economic system for some couple times, but I guess it has been solved, since with the construction of this DAM it means that Chinese quality are raised. They somehow already in higher level. They have another facility to support their life. They have DAM which the world's largest hydro power, i mean the sacrifice they've made are paid off.

2. When DAM's already operating, its water that fall down from the barrage will have a damage power to the land below them. Slowly.. it could reduce the barrage's land power, it scrape the soil layer below the building, and make the building collapse, because they're not strong enough for keeping the pressure that keep coming from the water. So, Three Gorges used a new method which adapted from Grand Coulee DAM in US State to overcome this problem,

if the Grand Coulee make a curvature concrete below their DAM, Three Gorges build it above the water (the red ones), so after the water fall down the barrage, they splashed until around 100m up, so  it won't have a distracted power anymore, the foundation land won't be deflected

3. Since, Three Gorges DAM placed in Yangtze river, it's one of busiest river in Asia, it's really useful for the traffic. With the Three Gorges DAM construction it will destruct the traffic activity in there. So, Chinese engineer, made a similar way which used at Krasnoyarsk DAM in Russia. They made a lift which using the water power (adapt the hydraulic pump theory).. So it can lift the ships from one side to another side of the DAM. 

4. The Three Gorges DAM's engineer could find out a method to make its building material which won't lose with nature's power.

And another excess that i haven't been mentioned since i still lack on English (i wish i could increase it soon), and my civil knowledge not that much yet, but soon I will, aamiin ;) I just wanna share you an info that I just got, well, Three Gorges DAM has been produce an ultimate hydro power for China, It really give much impact on many things in China, their Economical, their transportation, their flood problems, their irrigation, their electricity) .. and so many else, which grow to better and higher level. And made China into one of developed country in the world. 

We should learn many things from this. We could see.. how Allah already provide us with things in nature, water, sunshine, which can be used for something more useful. which can produce big power to be used. We as a human..just should keep learn and learn and find a way how to make things possible..and being useful.

Allah gives us sense and mind, to safe this world, to live in this world, Bismillah may Allah shows us always the wise way..to through. it's one of human's masterpiece. it's a real evidence, that yes we're capable to make big things, whatever is that, however they seems from too impossible -> to be possible. Crazy ideas are the biggest idea. People said if your dreams aren't scared you enough... that means they're not big enough. Keep imagining, keep dreaming, and work for it. Nobody knows if one day we could make them true. The ones who success are ones that have courage and believe in their dreams.  Subbhanallah :)

Go discover some new places

Heyhoo! Feeling good after waking up, Alhamdulillah still got a chance from Allah SWT to breath the air again today, Wish everyone is in a good health of course ;)

Well, I’m so thankful that I’ve been having good pals around, they’re my college’s friends, tehee. I know that we are so kemriyek most time, but I swear ya, we are good kids. we are just have some trouble on holding to not laughing :)) We already had good times together indeed! 

We have schedule on  every Wednesday to try some ‘kuliner’ in our city, Surabaya. In order to not bored for bringing lunch from home everyday. Though, we just only did it for couple times (looking forward for next times ahead yeayyy!), I already had so much funny times with them.

Like… anytime I’m hanging around with them, I could be somebody close to I am. Talk what I wanna talk. Sad. Badmood. Sick. Angry. Makes some jokes till we can’t stop laughing so hard. Shares some stories. Singing with my…ehm..bad voice. Study together. And travel to some places.

On Wednesday two weeks ago, We went to Aiola, since some of us coming from different cities, so they have not been here before. We bought different foods in there, there are Gado-gado, siomay, batagor, mi pitik, nasi goreng, es campur, etc. You only need to pay less than Rp 15.000 to get those yummy meals plus the drink! :9 By the way, we also bought two glasses of chocolate milk and then we drank it together. It’s so ROTFL (even mbak-mbak yang jualan pun ngetawain kita saking kordesnya) Moreover, it’s only a glass that contains of 1 liter milk in there, but there were 7 straws inside, and we must share it for 12 people -_- 

On Wednesday weeks ago, me, derai, icha, and bibip went to Soto Ayam Lamongan Cak Har on Jl. Arief Rahman Hakim. By the way Soto is a kind of soup which colored yellow contains of slices of chicken, white noodle, rice, fried union, and koya :9 Best to taste in warm condition and don’t forget to eat them with Krupuuk ya! :9 By paying Rp 14.000 you could felt awesomely full after ate them! since the Soto is really yummy many and …. presented with so many koya zuurrpppp, haaaa heaven of the world ~

on last Friday we went to House of Sampoerna because Derai haven’t gone there. then we continued our journey to Hotel of Majapahit :D Such a beautiful historical place to visit!

House of Sampoerna is an exhibition place of cigarettes producer in Surabaya. Presenting some old photos, furniture, kinds of tobacco, and marching band. There also featured with a digital computer to see videos, photos, and information. On the second floor, there is a place for buying souvenirs and watch the process of cigarette’s making lively! :D

But what most attract us to go there that afternoon is to try the “Surabaya Heritage”, short journey to see some tourist destination in Surabaya by taking on a bus. That friday the schedule written going to Kampung Kraton. Cak Durasim, and City Hall. but sadly we didn’t catch the departure times. Huhuhu. Maybe next time! ;)

Hotel Majapahit Surabaya \m/ One of historical place that still treated well in Surabaya. A hotel where the Holland’s flag teared by Arek-arek Suroboyo accident held. Place that made Surabaya being well known as The city of heroes :) Providing a view of building in Holland’s era. Old yet so classy ;) You could see some nice parks with fountains in the center of it while walking on its classic corridors. Like..you can treasuring back to the past B) Especially when you enter the rest room…uh baby though it feels a bit creepy..you certainly could feels and see how’s the Holland era in there..hrrrr :))

P.S You don’t need to pay anything just to see how’s inside the Hotel, free parking beybi :)
