Perahu kertas

pasti aku bakal bilang "Apa ya? aku sih sukanya Perahu Kertas"

Gatau aku suka aja sama ceritanya. Ngena aja gitu.

Dan menurut aku... that's how love simply works, in reality.

November

beautiful scenery at Paralayang and Pantai Gua Cina

Hey blog..
finally i got a free time for awhile, at least it's still 4 hours until i need to do something again. so, I want to fulfill my promise to someone that asked me at ask.fm hehe..

yes, I've been being so busy lately.. my academic and non academic's activities, both kept me running, mostly at this November. I even never spent my weekend at home! So these are what I did last month.. (especially at the weekend)
1) Done one of training's following event at my campus.
2) Done one of my task, went out with friends, slept over at her house, then the next day I went to Car free day, and played basketball.
3) Went to support my major KJI team at Malang
4) Had RAKER and watched Maliq.
and at the weekdays, I had a super tiring school's days because I got such a much tasks, a heavy series of practices, lot of evaluations, and another activities.

It can be a super long story if I should write every detail that happened to me, so I will just tell you the highlight part of it ;-) okey?

So, the training's following event that I've done was called TD Pusaka. I was being an OC in there. Like usual, I need to prepare things that needed, wake up earlier, etc. But the good news is I did it with my other 50+25 friends :) So, the tiredness were paid back by having a good time with them! :) Btw, from that activity, me and my friends have new toy to play, it's called "Break claps". It's a series of clapping hand with different patterns from 1 to 7, and it's challenging because it has a nice and engrossed sounds. Beside that, me and Vio was taught (not-so) privately by someone that I can't tell the name. :p

The next weekend, I had an even crazier days! It happened when my friends, Vio and Bibib asked to finish our Mektek Task together. actually, we supposed to do it at KFC Kertajaya with Hisyam, but suddenly these two girls popped front of my house, and all the plans were changed. At the end, we've done it at my house while eating an ice cream that we bought earlier :) But not so long after we started to do our homework.. we got bored.. and had an idea to go to Sutos instead hahaha! So.. yeah there we go.. SUTOS at 10 P.M!

Guess what we did in there? Yes, after goofing around for couple times, enter the stationery's store, watching people eating, then we end up by entering the cinema, buying the popcorn. And... only...watching.. trailer of films! :p

our sleepy faces
at 12 PM we went back, I had a sleepover at Vio's. It was raining on that day.. and suddenly omik answered my message, so we were chatting for awhile, but he's on busy mode that early morning so I decided joining Vio to sleep hihi. The next morning, Bibib picked me and Vio up! We went to help Icak vend at Car Free Day Darmo. Me and Vio bought socks in there! It was only 5000 and we got two pairs of it! :D So cheap huh, after tired walking around in there, finally we found Icak. Then we bought many foods, yeah! I ate up 1 portion of fried rice and 2 portions of grilled meatballs. Hweheheheehhhhh, so full! :)

After had my stomach full, we went to Basketball court at ITS Sukolilo. yeah, I played for some minutes in there :)) only randomly running with my shoes off.. and it felt hot! I also played free throw ball with Bibib and Vio. So, we had terms that before we throw the ball we should shout the name of someone that disturbing our mind hahahaha. So.. when I got my 3rd turned, I shout Tommy's name. "Ini buaaaaaaat omiiiiik" then I throw the ball, and dang! it was goal! :p But when I told him this story, he said that it was dramatic --" *sobs* yeah.. that's how I ended my crazy 2nd weekend! Woho!

Well..now we got on the 3rd weekend part. It will take too much words to describe the happiness of my 3rd weekend's journey. Maybe, these videos and pictures below would tell you better :)

failed video =))

better one =))

our happy faces! finally, beach!

This journey was especially dedicated for our friend Tiara who needs a refreshment because of something :) I hope you won't ever be sad again! After supporting our major's team at KJI and KBGI events, we made our own holiday! Yes, we spent 3 days and 2 nights at Batu-Malang. I was so happy that days, I met some of my high school's friends too in there, they were Hendro, Devy, and Nanda. It was good to feel the nice and cold weather of Batu-Malang (again).. having jokes with friends.. spent the night together.. at Alun-alun, at the car along the journey, etc. Being with the ones you loved and love you, always good, right? :)

Thanks for the great holiday! As always.. Looking forward for the next! yeyy yeyy

Finally.... I reach the last part! It's my 4th weekend!
So, I have a new activity, I got accepted for being a staff at BEM FTSP, I'm at Communication and Information Department. I dont know how.. but I really liked my job.. It's like I'm not doing anything, because everything that I gotta do.. were my hobbies! Writing.. capturing moments.. editing photos. :) I know, Allah always knows the best. right? alhamdulillah. What's more exciting about it? I met many new friends in there. Hopefully I can get along well with them.. do every of my tasks in here well too.. and be consistent aamiin!

last day activity.. after sitting for hours in 3 days! hoaam

after finished the raker sessions. Bibib and Vio (again) picked me up! Because we need to catch our interview test at chemical engineering building. Hehe, it was my first time went there, seriously guys after a year! ckckckck. Well.. if you 're going to ask me how was the test going?.. you better not :-) Maybe vio and bibib would answer it better (because they found something interesting in there..hahahaa).

at east coast

After we've done the interview sessions, we went to mosque and had a long chat in there. and at 8PM we went eating at East Coast, and as the closing part of this year's November! We watched Maliq D' Essentials! Woo! I thought, it was a great performance by them, because it has been awhile since the last time I watched a music concert..hehe.. by the way.. have i tell you that Bibib had her birthday on that 30th November? kindly shout "Happy birthday Bibib" yaa! And also don't forget to wish her the best wishes :)

So..that's how my November went.. see you folks! tasks are already waiting for me! bye

Wind, sky, and you

Hey, blog! I'm back again! :)
Last Saturday and Sunday, me and my other four friends just had a short holiday to Malang :) Well, actually we supposed to look for villa for our major's event next month in there.. But beside that, we took our times and had fun instead. :-p

So, we went there from Surabaya at 11a.m on Saturday morning, actually it supposed to be at 5a.m, but because of my sudden event, we couldn't make it, and end up went there at 11a.m. The traffic was kinda crowded that day, it took 6hours for us to arrive at Malang, and.. luckily the weather was not so hot, it was kinda gloomy, even we wished that it will rain, but it wasn't. We sang a lot at car, talking this and that.. you know, heart's problems =)) took photos, made video, slept, ate, and so many else.

Finally, at 17.17 we arrived at Egar's house. Placed at Jalan Sulfat, Malang, it has a super cozy environment, also the weather, it was cool, kinda windy, and the grey sky, made it feel perfect! After entering the house, Egar's mom was greeting us, and let us cleaning our self. The girls were sleeping at Egar's room which all is colored blue (and i think, omik would love it) then the boys were sleeping at Egar's sister's room which dominated with pink, hahahaha. After had some rest, Egar's parents invited us to have a dinner outside and we ate Sop Ayam! Which made us so full at a blink of eye! Ugh, but it was a delicious choice in that kind of weather, thank you so much om dan tante for the foods heheh! :)

the way our horizons meet..

After done eating, Me, bibib, temon, icak, palom were going to Payung. (Egar couldn't join us because he was sick), We seek for that famous starry night Batu's view in there~ Though the traffic was kinda jam.. we still enjoy our trip.. and finally arrived there. After moved from one place to another because of so many reasons, we could finally decide a place and delivered some foods! Like, milk, bread toast, and grilled corn. I enjoy gazing at the night's view.. though it's kinda cold, i felt happiness running through my veins, and made me feel warmer within myself. You know.. as I passed every way into there, I saw many old films playing in my mind, like.. every place has its own memory at my heart.. and i missed them all. But now, 3 years after that, i have my new journey with new people, making new stories all over again, and i figure out how fast times are. :) After enough enjoying the night, we back to Egar's house, and arrived there at 11.54 pm. Soon, after we entered the house, 3 people were directly pray Isya, and the left 2 were busy took out their stomach's contents wkwkwk, soon then we slept !

The 2nd daay, we went to Cuban Rondo Waterfall. Honestly, that was my first time going there =)) Like usual, we took photos, entered the pond, and the water was supppeerrr cold =)) From Cuban Rondo, we had lunch with Egar, Jija, Dzul, and Egar's brother at Waroeng Bamboe. Was a cozy restaurant with good concept. Lastly, we went to find the villa, haha!

Around 5 pm, we had our way to go back to Surabaya. Not doing much in the car, because everyone was already tired. (feeling sorry for Temon because he couldn't take a rest as long as the journey like we do). Was another great journey with friends :) and my personal companion who company me even when it was only through the phone, haha! looking forward for the next. Hopefully soon yah! Thanks everybody.

Main air !

Jumat pagi selalu identik dengan main air !

Semester 3 ini. wihhh! Kuliahnya hemm kerasa kuliah banget! Dulu waktu SMA, guru olahragaku, Pak Dicky, sering cerita-cerita, terus kasih intermezzo gitu, katanya kalo di ITS itu tugasnya buwanyaakk, sampek-sampek mahasiswanya bikin singkatan gitu, ITS -> Isok Turu Sangar.

Keren abis!

It means a lot! :D

Be Ready for AEC 2015 !

During the holiday, I spent a lot of my time in home, so my routine to read the newspaper is also back. Most time while reading a newspaper, i only read the highlight, the article which's also provided with an image, or something that really catch my attention, because I think, something that colorless is just not quite interesting to read, haha.

But, last time, i found a good article. It was an opinion from the writer about the President's election- which is one of the candidate who lost the election, ask for repetition to Mahkamah Konstitusi Indonesia. In the last part of this article, which said something close to this (sorry, I could not find the newspaper),

"..instead of making fuss about comparisons of election results, which will be splurging money, time, effort again. It's better to receive the results and accept who is the chosen president now. Anyway, if we want to save or make Indonesia as the number one country, we must not be as a President, right? Thus a successful entrepreneur, or being clever students who win at international level, or being a citizen of Indonesia which have the same mindset to build a better Indonesia, can also help our Country being the number one. Now, there is a more important issues that heading ahead us. Indonesia's government better immediately prepare itself for ASEAN Community 2015, which is already right in sight. "

Right in that time, I said like, "NHAAHH NHAAHHH." I just can't not agree anymore. I've been spending a month in home and have my reading newspaper's routine back, but I hardly found any article which specially talk about AEC issue.. I think, Indonesian needs to know more about AEC 2015 because, when this gate of economic community finally opened, the wave of trade whether trade of goods/worker/etc will freely happening in our country.

In my opinion, AEC 2015 will  give a positive impacts if we all have been made a good preparation and fully ready to face it. Such as, our country has a good infrastructure and our country has a high quality human resources. So, as the participant we can take an advantage of it, and not being fooled/disadvantaged from this system. Imagine, when people from other ASEAN countries come to our country, then they do have a higher grade/ability than our citizens, so they're appreciated in our country, they become a leader, they opened many companies, they permanently run a business in here. It's a bad idea. We're only being a servant in our OWN country when we supposed to be THE KING here. And there's a BIG probability of that to be happened in this free economic community, if we all not well-prepared.

Don't you think, It is a serious matter, guys? For me, it's yes.

Sometimes, Indonesia's people are to concern with their internal issues- we keep criticizing about this and that, but we are not give and make any solution, and then we forget that there are another challenge of time that will keep coming toward us.. :)

We should  take more care about it, as a student, we can make a little preparation at least for ourself.
Such as;
  • keep improving our foreign language skill,
  • make good grades in every subject,
  • keep update to the latest issue that happens near us,
  • have a wide social community,
  • surround yourself with positive people,
  • etc.
Still curious about AEC 2015? Just Google it, guys! Do find more and more about it yah! And also spend your time to watch this video too, okey? :)

A week of blessing!

Hey, peeps.. How's your day?  It's already a week after Idul Fitri. Sorry for the late saying, but Taqoballahu Minna Wa Minkum. Taqobal ya Kariim. Mohon Maaf Lahir dan Batin yaa.
We're started from 0-0 again, okay? :p

I'm going to post some about my recent activities in this Ramadhan 1435 H. Well, actually I wasn't doing so much things, Me and my family only stayed at Surabaya this year, because of my grammy just got sick for a month, so all of my mother's siblings asked my family to not go anywhere. Hehehe, maaf curhat. So, to kill the boredom, my family just looked for something refreshing near Surabaya. We were going out to have a dinner, or going out to try new highway, or having a windows shopping at mall, or simply just watching television and get my house cleaned together. I think, after all, it was still perfectly fun to be stay at home for almost 2 months, as long as there're the loved ones. hahaha i'm totally that type of a-home-person

Here, I give you hints of my Ramadhan's activities back then, yeay X)

After praying Eid
Alhamdulillah, this year I could follow praying Eid with my complete family. Actually we planned to pray outside of our neighborhood, but sadly, just like what we guess, we could not wake up earlier that day =)) So at the end, my family decided to pray in mosque near my house.. wkwk. After praying, some of my neighbor came to house, and we did Halal Bi Halal. Also there were some of our relatives too.. And this year, fortunately, whoaa I still got THR nih.. hehe.. :p

Trying new highway
I think the new highway which already opened in gate Gempol-Pandaan, it is supposed as the part of Surabaya-Mojokerto Highway, was good enough. I was amazed while crossing it. They were many crossing line, between one and another one direction. We could also see some tunnels in every some mile. WIKA seemly used new method that earlier used in developed countries such us Japan and America in building a highway in this project, which utilizing the free-vertical-area construction. Maybe, it is not as beautiful as Bali Mandara Highway, but I think it deserves for two thumbs up! :)

In my perspective, the government of Indonesia should, very needed, and MUST held many construction in this field. Infrastructure was a very important point to increase the living's point in a country. By a good infrastructure there will be a massive movement that can be done by the population, include to make a living or to transport thing for one place to another place. By a good infrastructure, especially the transportation, i believe, the rest development (like building, home, entertainment's place) will also follows to growth.

Fingers crossed aja lah for the new government that will start to work in the next three months!
Okay, next!

Pick and do groceries with mom and gramma
Company mom and grammom to have groceries means having a tiring day. Since I am as the youngest person there, I have the responsibility to carry and take care of the goods as long as we're shopping, hahaha. Running here and running there with some plastic bag in my hand at a really crowded place.. was another kind of physical exercise's times for me.. :') KURUS KURUS KURUS!!! wkwkwk

do cooking! :p
The next activity is do cooking! Lately, I almost always being left by my mom and daddy and it's ended by me get starving alone at home, huhuhu. So when the Magribh came up, I waited for my mom and dad to come home and brought me some food.. either I would not have eaten at all. Because of that, I prepared myself some easy and instant ingredients to cook at home, such as this spaghetti teheee. So I do not need to worry again, whether my parents will come home late or not :p It was a good time with stove, pan, and spatula.  That's I provide you the tutorial :p :p :p And this below one is how it turned out! Awwweeee, come to mama food! X)

Hmm delicious spaghetti ala Chef Rizka ~ yeeah

Ramadhan 1435 H may ends, but the challenge of being a better person actually just started. So, let's do better in worshiping Allah ya.. Aamiin. Selamat beraktivitas kembali X)

26.7.14

The Air of Freedom

Mengapa aku mengatakan begitu?

Dan menurutku itulah keasyikan dari menulis, you don't need anyone's approval, you just write what you want to write, you just write what you want to relieve, you just write what your heart's says. :)

:) Akupun sama.

As a reader, you hold your own choice for what you want to read. :)

Pendidikan.

"Kamu ga nyatet?"
"Enggak udah aku foto kok."
"Yaudah aku nanti nyalin ya."

"Kamu ga ndengerin?"

Sama seperti, a i u e o ba bi bu be bo dalam Bahasa Indonesia, yang seterusnya akan terpakai ketika kini pun kita berbicara ataupun membaca.

P.S: i found a very good article just couple weeks after i wrote this post. You must also read it peers. click here! :)

When you believe

This week's journey yey

It's 2.18 A.M in the morning, but as I'm still here, you know, I can't sleep..
Well, maybe I should killing my time here.. I've turned on my room's cooler, listening to music, and things similar to that.. Yep, being in cycle is really a bad thing in Ramadhan's month.. huf..

Hey..
Time is really one kind of a magic, I guess. You know what, It's been a month since my first day of holiday. And 23rd day of fasting! I know, days must have been passed really good until i didn't realize it at all :)

I really thankful to You, Allah.

These days, I have those people who always there taking care of me, company me, day to night, day to afternoon, night to morning, lucky enough right? :) Plus, in this holiday I have sort of things to do at morning to afternoon. Sometimes, I company my aunty in running her bakery business.. I'm not doing anything big, sometimes I just packed the cookies, hmm or had mixing some ingredients, also picking it to some places with my aunty. Though, sometimes I felt tired in the night, I never regret myself, because I'm feeling happy while doing it.. Except for the cats's disturbance in my aunty's house. There are 7cats in there.. Can you imagine how's my feeling? Even, there's one that ever disturbing while I'm praying.. You guys must know just how much I was frightened and holding so much of my fear.. ckckck --

Hmm, tonight.. I want to share something too
So, yesterday, I had a sudden little bit cheesy conversation with my mother. And what I wanna share with you is what's it about. I don't know what made my mom asked this to me, but suddenly,
"Kak, why do you have no boyfriend, until now?"
I'm not really took it serious, cause my mom ever asked me the same question couple time before.. But then, my mom continued her words.

"..because, when you already in job's places, it will be kinda hard to look for it. You'll only have a small circle to communicate it. More over, if you already feel so much comfortable with your job. You'll start to think, that you're really a total independent woman, who doesn't need anyone to share your life with.. Many women have experienced that way.. You know that, right?"

I took a moment to consider what suitable answer for my mom. I told her that I had that kind of scary of being attached with someone. I don't like to trust anyone and being depend on them. I feel it's enough for me for just being an independent one for myself. Then, my mom continued her words.. "You don't need to be in relationship, being just two only with your boyfriend, mom also not really like that, but mom only want you to try knowing someone. try to know how's their personality. try to know how to trust person. try to maintenance things with someone. one day, you'll meet the best person to suit in your life. but one day too, you'll also meet that bad people, who will push you to your patience's limits, who'll scratch your heart with hurt, and leave you for some lessons in the future."

I know, 19 is still an early age for those stuffs. I should take my education at my first option. But, I know what my mother means. Later, I'm not only facing life through books, paper, or presentation. You know, world is wicker out there.. People with two faces are everywhere. And only some who show you their true color in your life... :)

I used to keep pushing away someone that I think I won't to stay with from the start. I used to let things be broken when it already took me down, I will just leave it without trying to fix them first. But, lately, I learn not to. Someone told me that I should try trusting people. Not being too arrogant, and looks strong outside. Try to say what I really feel. Yea, I want to fight for something which I know it will worth fighting for..

I remembered with what Ted from HIMYM says,
"When you believe in people, people come through."
And, I'm just still looking for the really right one :)

Ramadhan Kareem 1435

my life this week in a frame

WHOAAA I must have been abandon my Pile of Dust, right? hmmm, since I've done doing my chores's list, I think i can spend a little time here :)

So what has been happening these past days?
Actually, I had lotta things happened, but much of it, are about went to somewhere either with my family or my friends. It's holiday, so i think, i deserve enough to have it, even- I may deserve more! Hahaha, but however, alhamdulillah, thank you, Allah :)

It almost reach the 2nd week of Ramadhan's month. Times walk way too fast, don't you think huh? But it kinda gloomy at my home, since my brother can't joining this Ramadhan at home, since he has to follow his academic's regulation at Kediri. Also, most times, my daddy is going out from the city to have done his work. And my mommy and sister busy take care of the school's entrance. Pssst i tell you, my sister made a big success, alhamdulillah, she got accepted at 1 JHS (just like me), I'm really a proud sister ever. ;) And that's why,  i feel kinda lonesome most time. And, it's kinda hard for me to go outside, since there's no vehicle left when everyone goes out.

Hmmm, first week of Ramadhan i mostly spend at home, chatting, watching Running Man, watching World Cup at the night, Sahur, reading Quran with my sister, helping mum prepare the meals, cleaning the house, eating, sleeping, praying, picking up my grammy to check up --" Until, at Saturday I went out with Aho and Dinar, yehaa finally we met up after a year, dinar said, it's been soooo long rite? <3

Actually, we wanted to ride on Surabaya Heritage (a famous bus that will take you to some tourist's destination places in Surabaya) from House of Sampoerna. But unfortunately we didn't make it, because we ran out of the places :< So then, we just walked around and take some selfie with Aho's tongsis (nak gahoelz bet dah) After felt content of roaming around in there, we decided to go to Tunjungan Plaza, because Aho wanted to look on some shoes in there. And we spent the whole times there until breakfasting. Psst i didn't recommend you to do this, because it consumed much energies of your Sahur meals, you couldn't find any seats to relieve your legs even for a minute.. haaa :p

The next days, hmm, went quite bit absurd.. I just picked up my mommy to mall. My daddy to airport, with my brother, since my daddy took the morning flight, me and my brother watched the World Cup at car hahaha. And then, there was also The Election day, at 9th July, really curious (as always) about the result. I hope, whatever the result that come out, they will become the responsible President who will listen and care to their citizens.

yes, Fingers crossed.

Being productive

Today's portrait!
Today, I'm going to retell you about things I did. Not something special, but I won't let this moment just going away from my pile of dust. So, D'village (event that held by my major) is getting closer, it's next week!! wow! Which means, we as the organizer, should work harder for any things that haven't fixed, including the fund's problem. That's why, we had a way out, by selling drinks and foods in Car Free Day Darmo. If I'm not wrong, it's been the 5th time since our first, it's last time for this year... and I had a great experience today :-D

The story was.. Icak as the director of its selling project was bored to make our weekly menu,  so then.. we changed our plan with the new one. Guess whaaatttt's it?
1...
2..
3..

Taraa! We sell banana-cheese fried, cutie pancake, bread toast, grilled sausage, grilled meatball, and cireng. And you know what? We made it ourself, exclude the sausage and cireng. So, on the Saturday ba'da Magribh, I went to Icak's house. I planned to sleep over there since we got lotta things to do, and we should get a good place on the Sunday Morning!

After arrived there, we prayed Isha and went to do grocery! It was so fuuun, since i went to here and there, just two with Icha, surfing on Icak's motorcycle, felt the night's breeze passing through my veins while seeing the moon's light (alay).  Firstly, we bought banana. Guess what, after bidding for some couple times, the seller gave us price (which i think) it was so cheap. After that, we were looking for some complement needs, such as the plastic, the toothpick, and the oil paper. And next destination was... finding cheese and palm sugar! then we found for the flour, oil, milk. Lastly, Icak treated me an avocado juice. Thanks a lot caki :3

After finished the "what we need to buy"'s checklists! We back home and prepared the whole things that we need. We made dough, we move the milk, we placed the sugar, we grate the cheese, we slice some banana, just times then... two more of our friends were coming! They were Temon and Cornel. We tried to cook our product. Just to make sure, that it does turn into something delicious. I'm forget to tell you, that time, it was already 1 AM in an early day.. ha.. ha.. we jokes and laughed for some silly and random things we did =))) Since yah..uda jam goblok gitu kan jam jam segitu itu.

After everything has packed on, Temon and Cornel asked us to go outside, can you imagine that? we haven't sleep all day along, we should wake up before 3AM, so we supposed to quickly sleep. but we weren't! We went to Ciputra BUT it was soooo fuuun, to pass by an empty freeway in an early daay. The air's breeze was soooooooo relaxing. I even took my head outside the car's window. Slowly screaming..... and really got happy in a time. I-somehow- feel calm and warm being surrounded with my friends.

around 2.30AM i got sleepy and...finally fall asleep. I heard sometimes Cornel and Temon were so noisy =)) I thought they don't know which way to pass. And times then I slightly woke up and we're already at The new airport =)) What the.... ?? =)) I heard they asked to me and Icha, should we down and taking some photos or not. But they said, me and Icha answered no, please guys, kita kan ngelindur itu jawabnya =))) We even didn't realize it was rainy so hard that morning wkwkwk

Just then, Suddenly, it's nearly to 4AM, and we haven't arrived at Icak's home. We got panicked and called Mandol. and Tiara also called us. =)) Some complicated things happened then. Untiil tadaaa, we arrived at Darmo.

Some unlucky things happened to us at first. the stove wouldn't work. the floor was watery, etc. But times then, things got better and were under our control :3 we started to make our foods! packed this packed that. frying this frying that. grilled this and grilled that. even we got some hot-oil splashing! wuuuw So complete right? The hot menu last morning was..the grilled meatball! u guys should try sometimes, okey ? <3

afterrr tired selling things. Me and kordesian played the paper-boat. We made wishes and float them. And then we packed, and we went back. by the way, I was driving for Temon and Cornel because that two were so sleepppyyyyy, and i thought it's ok. I felt like a mommy picking for her sons that time haha. Arrived at Icak's home we did the dishes, counted the money (yeeeyyyy!) and had a super comfy sleep for 4hours!

And i went home.

Though it was so tiring.....I'm - seriously - really enjoying it. Alhamdulillah, thanks Allah for giving me chance to experience things like this, May i could always be productive like this B-)

A hectic week

My life this week in black & white
Hey blog... I guess this is the place where I end up when I reach my lowest point. Sorry, blog... that's why you're rather gloomy and mellow-drama lately hehehe but I tend to seek for relieve by writing here only or mostly when I get stuck, sad, tired, or terribly bored.

Look, I don't mean to complain, I think Allah has always been soo good to me. I know many people will switch place with where I am now. But there's always this one point when you're not satisfied, and that's what makes us human, right?

But, I must admit it, that this week was one of those tiring weeks ever. Due to many things that I should have done in 7 days. Not only consumed my thoughts but also lots of my energies.

Reversing time back into 7 days ago, after cycling  in the morning, I was getting an accident near my house. I fall and got some wound, gladly it wasn't that bad. Monday to Friday, I never got home earlier than 9-10PM, I drove to here and there.. I ran for this and that.. And plus.. My school's stuffs. Task, exam, etc. Which are never stop coming and coming like the water flows..

And, it's Sunday, which means tomorrow is already monday again. Like, "hheu.."  I know, I better take a rest or doing my homework or read some books instead of grumbling here, but i just feel like, I need a little escape now.. I've been going to a bookstore yesterday, but it doesn't help much. I still feel need sort of a little pause, such as have a school's day off, or going to somewhere, or simply writing here, maybe?

But then, I was companying my mom and my grammy to fresh market yesterday. In there i found how life was so opposite between one person to another, including me. And I should be thankful to Allah for His blessing.. I should reminding myself however I'm in bad condition that there're still many people out there who's in worse condition than me..  and my life that I have doesn't that hard to compare with theirs.

This's part of my journey to be someone who i wish i eventually turned out in the future. And I should fight for it. This's the war that never going to stop between me and my own self. I may feeling this in one time, but i must not let it control me all the time. Being a moody person is really a bad thing..hzz :''|

That is a video which's a compilation of videos that I took during this week when I was going to many places. I collage it into one and give it a soundtrack. That's the song that I mostly listening to lately.  KITA BISA by RAN ft. Tulus, it's a beautiful song, right? :)

A short trip to London!

3R went to London ^^

Yesterday me and my two friends, Rizky and Riky were going to an UK education expo that held by SUN, placed at Ballroom JW Marriot Surabaya, started from 10am to 6pm. And I didn't regret a bit for coming there! We got some packaged which contain of a guide book for study overseas in some countries and pen. Also, we could take a pict (and got the printed of it) with the background and properties of famous things in London, and it was free! :P

What we Got! :)
Then, we entered the auditorium. There were various desks based on the university with two tutors. Some is a foreigner, and you could choose which university you would like to know and asked there anything! Whether about the major, the cost, the locations, the things you need to prepare, etc. Since Me and my friends are still in first year, we didn't ask things that "muluk-muluk".. at least, we knew what things we should prepare from now if we really want to go there someday (aamiin).

Here're some important  info that I got if you want to apply for school at London, especially S2 programs:
1. Transcript in English, min. IP 3.
2. IELTS min. 6, TOEFL IBT min. 90
3. Reference from two college lecturers!
4. Passport, visa, and lots of money (if you don't get a scholarship, you need to prepare money around Rp 290 million for the study cost per semester)

Okay that's all what I can share to you :3
By the way, today I came to a (real)-graduation at Graha ITS, it's kind of farewell party for some of my seniors that finally can wear a Toga and make their parents proud of them. I heard the speaker calling their name and said "LULUS DENGAN PUJIAN". Subbhanallah, hopefully me and all of my friends could hear that 3 years from now..

I know, the road is still long way to go. So, just keep the spirit up! May Allah always copes all of our dreams :)

Tapi, yah.. gabisa munafik sih. Tanpa uang, somehow, kita jadi kurang punya taring

Kenapa  perlu berpikir mahasiswa-is?

Be someone a little braver..

"Ketika kamu belum berani berbicara.

Sedikit namun begitu memotivasi. Buat saya, words have power. Apalagi real action. Apapun medianya, berorasi, menulis, menyumbang, kampanye, dan sebagainya. Semoga, saya bisa lebih mahasiwa-is kedepannya.

Jadi ?
Akankah kita menjadi pemuda sebagai potensi negara ?
Atau pemuda sebagai sumber permasalahan sebuah negara ?
Kita sendiri yang tentukan.
Semoga kita bisa menjadi insan yang berguna.

Flood Problem in Jakarta

img source: google.com

Today, I'm going to talk about recent hot issue in most of Indonesia's news shows, flood problem that happens in Indonesia, mostly at Jakarta. Nowadays, flood in Jakarta happens annually, even, it's getting worse and worse - every year, who should to be blame on? Let's take a look first on what factor cause this happened, in my point of view..

1. Excess of Population -> too many construction -> green area decrease
As the capital city of Indonesia, where all forms of activities centered here, Jakarta become a city with the most society numbers. with total area: 664,01 km2 Jakarta has patch 9.809.857 society, and has a big differences numbers of society with another cities in Indonesia, and now Jakarta is already classified as  a megapolitan city.

With these numbers, absolutely Jakarta should grown with many buildings to support the human's activities. Places to work, residential, Mall, stadium, apartments, etc. Which make its green area, trees, plants, forest, reduced year by year along with the increase of the population. Whereas, green areas with plants and trees in there are important place for nature balance. With the presence of trees, whenever the rainy season's coming, it could help soak the water that falling, and decrease the chance for flood disaster.

Now, the green area that available in Jakarta is only 10% of its total area, which ideally it should be 30% .

2. Disposal system
With those high numbers of society sure it will produce massive garbage in Jakarta. With no good disposal system, it could make a worse condition for Jakarta. Garbage maybe an unimportant things in human's life, it's something that can't be used anymore, it's stink, dirty.. then people throw it away~~pew~~ anywhere, in road, in school, in river, in canal~~ without thinking what may coming up next~~ especially, in rainy season.

Government should provide a good disposal system in Jakarta. They should find most effective and quickest way to anticipate the amount of litter from the society. Government should provide numbers of trash can in ways for every some meters. in crowded place. So, society have more will to throw them in the right place.

3. Geographical location + bad drainage system
The geographical location is one of largest cause why Jakarta gets a flood every year. Placed after Bogor which in higher level from Jakarta makes Jakarta got its descendant water flows. The bad news is, Jakarta already in bad condition with factors i earlier said.

Actually it won't really impact to Jakarta if only Jakarta already has a good drainage systems. Every year, with the increase of population, the width of drainage canals are getting smaller and smaller while the water capacity that come's getting higher.. Plus if the drainage system in there nearly broken by ages factor, it will make the condition worse.

What should we do?
It's kind of hard question to solve. Since, we all know, how big matters that made Jakarta having this flood attack every year. We can't blame the high rain intensity, we shouldn't be, because rain is Allah's giving.. So if it becomes a disaster, who else to blame? It's ourself.. as human, who actually caused this. Jakarta already broken the nature being in there until it isn't balance anymore. Too many deforestation. Too many green area used for buildings. Not only that, I get a lil bit disappointed every time I watch a television program that reporting Flood in Jakarta, and the host said..
"Wish the Jakarta's Government could quickly overcome this problem.."

Wait a minute. So you just hoping the Government is the one who should take an action here? and you wish this problem will be finished? How much time you wish it would take, if you're hoping like that?

Let's counting, how many Government's people that can take action? And how many Jakarta's residents that can take action? It won't ever make sense when you're wishing just The Government that should take an action to overcome this problem and the society not. You're all living in that area together. You produce the garbage, you used the land for making home, you keep coming there with hope that you'll get a better economy, life, etc and when the problem comes up..you're just hoping the Government will finished it...

We all can start helping by doing little things.. Like, don't ever throw garbage anywhere. throw it at the trash can. Or maybe reuse it for something useful again. It's only a simple thing :)
Maybe we don't notice it, when we throw a piece of plastic in a canal.. and we think,
"ah it's not a big thing. nothing will happen"
But, how if you keep doing it once every 5 days, multiply it into a month, and a year, and 9.809.857 head. Is it still won't make big thing happen again?

For bigger solutions.. there're must be a lot. but i believe, most of them will take times. because, the problems're in huge scale.

1. Do transmigration -> equalization of population -> equalization development
Indonesia is a big country. It contains of..many region. Java, Borneo, Papua, Sumatera, Sulawesi. But, all the society mostly concentrated in Java. Why? Because, the development in this country's uneven. Imagine, if every region in this country, happening an equal development's grade.. The society's numbers. The economy's growth numbers. The resources exploration rate.
Not only the flood matter that will be solved, but also the others problems, such as reduce the unemployment numbers, reduce the traffic jam in high ways, and so many else in the future.

2. Do the vertical's direct construction
One of my college's teacher, in Transportation Building major, ever told me.. as the society growth and the need of massive public facilities's getting higher. We should take an advantage of the vertical's direct construction. vertical's direct is unlimited space that we can used. Like, in developed country, as Japan, American already did. it will surely take times until Indonesia can become like this below.. but.. hey, nothing's impossible ;)
*)P.S: if you don't understand what I mean, these're the examples of vertical's direct construction

japan's highway (img src: google.com)
Dubai Marina Real Estate Apartment (img src: google.com)

Los Angeles's Highway (img src: google.com)

3. Repair/rebuild, and keep maintenance the drainage system
Since, the drainage system like, water pump, flood gate, is still human's production. Slowly, they could get broken by the time. So, people should take a serious maintenance of it. Every 3 month, every 6 month, or every year, maybe. It sure will take cost, but prevention is better than repressive, isn't it?

Compared with the cost that should spend for the maintenance, i'm sure it will less than the cost for keeping back the city condition. less than resident's properties that broken by the flood.

Last but not least.. let's wishing all the best for our brothers and sisters out there.. which was hit by the flood, may you all blessed in Allah's shelter and kindness.. let's save our environment since now.. we are the ones who can prevent ourself from bad things. May Every incident is in Allah's will. but we must make an effort. Take the lesson..and learn from that.. bismillahirohmanirohim.. :)
